On Monday 17th March we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, the Patron Saint of Ireland St. Patrick was brought as a slave to Antrim where he spent 6 years tending pigs.
He tells us he prayed to God a 100 times a day & the same at night.
He escaped to France & was ordained a priest & later a bishop.
He returned to Ireland & preached the Gospel of Christ to the Irish people.
We remember to thank God for this precious gift on St. Patrick’s Day.
Masses on St.Patrick’s Day are at 9am & 12noon.
