As part of the recent Diocesan Synthesis published arising from this Synodal process, reenergizing outreach to young people, was one of the areas identified requiring a response at a local and Diocesan level. The desire to reach out to young people, and to involve them at all levels of Church was a very strong theme emerging. Following discussion on the value of the
role of Youth Ministry in its broadest sense within our Diocese, a proposal was approved by the Council of Priests for parishes to hold a special collection to assist in the financial support of the development of all Youth Ministry projects across the Diocese.

This special collection will be a retiring collection as you leave Mass this weekend. All support greatly appreciated.
