Michael (Mickey Mac) McInerney

The death has occurred peacefully at the Limerick Regional Hospital of Michael McInerney, better known as Mickey Mac, Moore St, Kilrush.

Sadly missed by his wife Margaret, his children Anne Maria, John and Michael, brothers Patrick and Tommy, sister Mary, sisters in law, brothers in law, daughter in law Mairead and son in law Séan, his grandchildren Eoin, Aisling, Grace, Steven and Emma, Nieces, Nephews, Relatives, Neighbours and Friends.

Arriving to St. Senan’s Church Kilrush on Monday 22nd November for 12 o’clock Mass, followed by a private family cremation in Shannon Crematorium.

Family flowers only, please donations if desired to the West Clare Cancer Centre.

Reflection

15th Sunday Ordinary Time

Jesus made a tour round the villages, teaching. Then he summoned the Twelve and began to send them out in pairs giving them authority over the unclean spirits. And he instructed them to take nothing for the journey except a staff – no bread, no haversack, no coppers for their purses. They were to wear sandals but, he added, ‘Do not take a spare tunic.’ And he said to them, ‘If you enter a house anywhere, stay there until you leave the district. And if any place does not welcome you and people refuse to listen to you, as you walk away shake off the dust from under your feet as a sign to them.
