The death has occurred of Mary (Mama) Downes,(nee Hehir), 5 St. Patrick’s Terrace, Kilrush.

Peacefully under the amazing care of the staff at the Palliative Care Unit, Regina House, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Joe Downes and granddaughter Norma-Jean HallyR.I.P.

Deeply missed by her son John, daughters Mary (Hally) and Josie (Hanrahan), Trevor and all of her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sister Bridget (Fitzgerald) and her brother Patrick Hehir, Carron, Co. Clare, along with her extended relatives, neighbours, friends and especially her work family in “The Haven Arms” Kilrush.

Reposing at her residence at, 5 St. Patrick’s Terrace, Kilrush on Wednesday 1st May from 5 pm until 7 pm.

Arriving to St. Senan’s Church Kilrush, for Funeral Mass on Thursday 2nd May at 11 am.

Burial afterwards in All Saints Cemetery, Shanakyle.
