On Sunday Feb.2ndas we celebrate Candlemas Day, we also celebrate a Day of Consecrated Life in which we acknowledge and give thanks to God for the witness and example of both women & men who consecrate their lives to God as sisters and brothers in various religious communities.

In Kilrush we are blessed to have the presence of the Sisters of Mercy who have immersed themselves in service to the parish community & wider area down the years.

We pray God’s continued blessing on them & sincerely thank them for their witness to the Gospel message.
